Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile. I was born in Hong Kong in 1983 and grew up in Hong Kong, Dammam Saudi Arabia and Kuala Lumpur Malaysia before finally returning to England in 1995 with my folks. I had particular difficulties during my teens and was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome with associated problems such as Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). These issues meant that my education was at special schools, but during that time I discovered I could sing and create melodies relatively easily. With my difficulties greatly decreased, I was able to study pop music at Salisbury College and began singing at showcases and gigs whilst moving on from making songs with a keyboard to a guitar. At the moment most of my engagements have been in the Southwest as my home is in Dorset though I did sing with a band at the Roundhouse in Camden Town, London and have performed acoustic showcases at Betsy Trotwood London, The Reagal Room, The Distillers at Hammersmith and The Bedford, Balham. I am always looking for showcase gig opportunities in London. I continue to enjoy being a singer/songwriter with just a few of my songs on this website. I was fortunate to win a gold award through Dartington College of Arts and Music and with their support hope to launch a single under the Southwest recordings label. Thanks for your support. Nick
